Transitional Housing
The Transitional Housing program is time-limited to 24 months and families or individuals pay 30 percent of their income. The Transitional Housing program doesn’t require a disability.
Who is this program for?
Families or individuals also need to meet the Minnesota guidelines of homelessness meaning “any individual, unaccompanied youth or family that is without a permanent place to live that is fit for human habitation.” Doubling-up is considered homeless if that arrangement has persisted for less than one year.
How do I apply for this program?
The Transitional program uses the Coordinated Entry System which can be initiated by calling 211 or texting “homeless” to 85511.
