Family Homeless Prevention & Assistance Program (FHPAP)
Range Transitional Housing has partnered with Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) to administer The Family Homeless Prevention & Assistance Program (FHPAP). FHPAP funds can be used towards first months rent and security deposits, as well as one-time rent or utility assistance.
Who is this program for?
FHPAP program can used by families or individuals in Northern St. Louis County that meet the following requirements:
- Are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless
- Have been denied emergency assistance by the county
- Meet federal poverty guidelines
- Have not used FHPAP funds in the current grant cycle
How do I apply for this program?
Most clients are referred to RTH through St. Louis County, AEOA, or other local agencies.
Most of the FHPAP processed are started by a phone call to the RTH office.
How long does the approval process take?
Once the family or individual identified as needing rental help or security deposit, the approval process can be completed quickly, in some cases only a few days.
